These units had to fit the existing curbs exactly along with allowance for the piping to come up through the floor of the units. It was determined that the existing units would be removed from the roof and replaced with the new all over one weekend. This accomplishment would essentially allow “business as usual” come Monday morning. In order to make this happen all the appropriate trades and CAS collectively coordinated a successful strategy and executed it perfectly; this resulted in a very satisfied customer.
Custom Air Solutions was founded in 1975 as a supplier of HVAC products and accessories. These products originally consisted mainly of roof curbs and industrial dryers for use in the food process industry. Early on it became apparent that there was a need for an alternative supplier of HVAC air handling units within the marketplace. The desires of the customer were simple; they needed components, materials, and arrangements that were not being presented to them in their standard "catalog" unit offerings.
